DSE Marina Green 5k

My first race of the year was at the DSE Marina Green 5k! We have a little break in the weather so it was a nice clear morning. The temps have dropped quite a bit, but once you start running it warms up. The only problem is this cold wind that makes my eyes tear up. I'm still just trying to keep a consistent base, no speedwork, so I opted for 8-minute pace. I managed to get a nice progression going and finish in 24 minutes and some change, 1st AG. Half-marathon is in three weeks!
